“We were three in a huge room: a double room separate from the living room (with a bed in it), so if you travel with someone who snores, you won't hear them. There was also a small kitchen, handy if you don't want to eat out every day, and a big bathroom with both bath and shower. We were pleasantly surprised by the size. The rooms have an antique air, beds are very comfortable, and the pillows are perfect. It faces a fairly busy street but is well soundproofed with double windows. They offer bed and breakfast, with restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff are very friendly – a highly advisable place to stay.”

“The hotel is beautiful, partly thanks to the charming shepherd Max at reception. The owners are wonderful, and so is the staff. Breakfasts are excellent – everything fresh and delicious. I stayed in a single room on the fifth floor – there's a lift. The room had everything needed (hairdryer, bathtub, soap and shampoo, wardrobe, safe, table, sofa, bed, and kitchen). The kitchen is functional (microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker with filters, two-burner stove, pot, bucket, frying pan, colander, chopping board, knives, woks, covers, dishes, kitchen towel). If staying a while, bring a sponge, detergent, olive or sunflower oil, and salt and pepper. Two Billas (grocery stores) are nearby. The subway is a 7-minute walk (under the hill/slide), 15 minutes to Hofburg, 20 minutes to St. Stephen's Cathedral. It was -14°C outside, but the bath water was hot, and on request I was given an extra heater – special thanks! I recommend this hotel! Also, Wi-Fi is free in all Billas. I recommend it!”
